A full redesign of a marina’s website on the Venetian coast, rebuilt as a one-pager in Framer and launched in a month.

At a glance
The starting point
An old site that wasn’t returning anything
It showed a photograph of a photograph: an aerial shot framed in rope, with the logo printed across the middle. Below it a bulleted list of facilities, a row of association badges, and almost nothing a visitor could act on.
Decision
Designed for the phone first
Seven out of ten visitors arrive on a phone. The old site had never been built for that, so we started from the mobile layout and let the desktop follow, instead of the other way round.
The catalogue
The boats catalogue
The boats-for-sale area already existed before the redesign: empty, out of date, unused. We rebuilt it as a catalogue of 25 listings, filterable by boat type, each with photos, year, length, engine, condition and price, and a detail page behind it. It runs on Framer’s CMS, so the marina manages it without coming back to us.
Result
Where it stands
The boats section is now the most visited part of the site after the homepage, and boats have sold from it. For a marina, a single transaction there is worth more than everything else the site does in a year.
